Rooibos (pronounced Roy-boss) Aspalathus linearis is native to South Africa. Commonly called red tea or bush tea. Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free. Brews similar to black tea (with a similar color), but a more mellow cup. Has reputed health benefits due to high concentration of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Pairs well with milk and sugar.
