* This is an exceptional opportunity to add a rare, early, signed item from the Victoria & Richard Estate to your collection. * Pair of MacKenzie-Childs textile egg cozies that will also keep your tea/coffee cup warm too. The Prince of Wales motif textile cover with gold lame fringe, a gold finial on top and Courtly Check cording on the ends. Cotton batting inside helps keep your egg or beverage warm. Circa 1980s. We could not find this item or anything like it in our search. One is signed on the interior bottom perimeter; note that the ink ran in spots likely from condensation. It reads (copy in [ ] brackets is implied to the best of our ability): “From the Estate of Victoria & Richard [MacKenzie]-Childs August 31st [year].” In excellent pre-owned vintage condition; some minor wear to gold lustre in the ribs of the finials (may have been intentional) and a loose thread or two on top loop trim.
