🌍 Origin – Lekempti, EthiopiaLekempti coffee is grown in the Wollega and Ghimbi regions, delivering a cup profile similar to Harrar longberry coffees—low to mild acidity, balanced body, and distinctive dark fruit character.
Region: Wollega / Ghimbi
Altitude: 1,750–1,800 meters (masl)
The elevation and climate allow for slow cherry maturation, enhancing sweetness and complexity.
🌿 Processing – Natural / UnwashedCoffee cherries are dried with the fruit intact
No washing prior to drying
Allows sugars from the fruit to infuse into the bean
Natural processing is responsible for the coffee’s mocha richness, berry sweetness, and heavier mouthfeel, making it ideal for medium to dark roast profiles.
